She has worked with many gifted directors including Oscar nominated Tom McCarthy - "The Station Agent," "The Visitor," "The Cobbler," and "Win-Win" (for which she commissioned a new song by The National "Think You Can Wait" - a contender for the Best Original Song Oscar), and Oscar Winning Director Quentin Tarantino - "Pulp Fiction," "Jackie Brown," "Grind House" and his Grammy nominated soundtracks "Kill Bill Vol. 1," "Kill Bill Vol. 2," "Inglourious Basterds," and "Django Unchained" (for which, in a first for Quentin, new songs were created with artists John Legend, Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton, Rick Ross & Jamie Foxx, Ennio Morricone & Elise, and Tupac Shakur & James Brown), Oscar nominee Richard LaGravenese on his films "P.S. I Love You," "Freedom Writers" (for which, she commissioned an original song "A Dream" by Common and will.i.am and sampling the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) and "Beautiful Creatures" (for which, Mary asked Dhani Harrison and his band thenewno2 to create an unique score comprised of electronica, "swamptronica" and orchestral melodies), Robert Rodriguez on "From Dusk Till Dawn," Allison Anders on "Grace of My Heart" (for which, Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach teamed to write the iconic song "God Give Me Strength"), and recently worked with director/writer/actor Zach Braff on "Wish I Was Here," (for which, she asked the artists Coldplay & Cat Power, The Shins and Bon Iver to write & record original songs).

Currently, Mary is working again with Quentin Tarantino on his upcoming film "The Hateful Eight," and with Tom McCarthy on his upcoming film "Spotlight." She is also working on the futuristic television series "Minority Report," for Fox, which is a sequel to the Steven Spielberg Tom Cruise film.
