ALT BLK ERA

Drums and bass against the insanity of the world, against oppression and discrimination. ALT BLK ERA’s debut, “Rave Immortal” (2025), drops not only a collection of top-quality bangers onto the UK’s alternative dance scene, but also a seriously needed manifesto for greater political awareness within club culture. The duo fuse classic drum & bass with alternative rock, nu metal with hyperpop, crafting a powerful, unique style for our times. Tracks like ‘Witch’ (2023) and ‘My Drummer’s Girlfriend’ (2025) have become anthems over recent years for a new generation that has zero tolerance for the neoliberal decline of British society. With their new EP “Our World” (2026), ALT BLK ERA not only expand their broad production palette, but also send a fresh signal calling for greater engagement and standing against the pervasive sense of powerlessness amongst Gen Z. It’s the sound of a new dawn brought to the stage by this duo with unyielding energy.
