With a wild mix of styles ranging from alternative metal and djent to modulated rap and heavy-hitting trap beats, Arankai has made a name for himself across several scenes over the last few years. Genre labels are of little concern to this American multi-talent anyway. Instead, with singles like “A Good Day To D13” (2022) or “No Face” (2023), he proves time and again that he simply does whatever takes his fancy. What’s wild about it is that no matter what he tackles or how he tackles it, it works. Emotional clean vocals or smoky rap verses, brutal riff storms or hazy beat programming, headbanging or praying – for Arankai, nothing is a must, but everything is a possibility. Thus, personal misfortunes as well as his faith find their way onto his debut album “A Portrait Of Red” (2025), released last year, and are processed both lyrically and compositionally. With the new single “Choke” (2026), he consistently continues his non-conformist approach and is gearing up for new concerts – one of which will be here in September.
