Bleech 9:3
As if hurled out of a time machine, Bleech 9:3 burst onto the Irish underground music scene last year. No one knew the four Dubliners – yet their sound evokes memories in everyone that are hard to pin down at first. Listen closer though, and you’ll soon realise: flashes of Nirvana shine through here, there’s that raw, gritty energy from the early nineties, and in the background the alternative rock of the noughties gets revived with a heavy dose of world-weariness. Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Radiohead – okay, the influences are clear. But what Bleech 9:3 draw from all this and bring to life is no mere revival. In tracks like the debut single “Ceiling” (2025) or “Cannonball” (2026), elements of noise rock and the lyrical crossover of a Jacoby Shaddix meet modern production, giving the overall stylistic feel a contemporary, original signature. With their debut EP “Bleech 9:3” (2026) freshly mixed and in the bag, we’ll be welcoming the four Irishmen in September for their first gig in Germany and their official Reeperbahn debut in Hamburg. You’ll have seen them here before anyone else.
