Whether as a producer for former German rap newcomers such as Symba, Apache 207, and reezy or as a classical composer in his own right, Thomas Horeczko excels in various roles with a special flair for harmonies, arrangements, and contemporary sound design. Born in Paris to a cellist mother and a composer father, Horeczko had many opportunities to try his hand at music from an early age. He learned piano and violin as well as saxophone and guitar, studied at Marcel Dadi’s Classic Conservatory, and explored the musical traditions of the Arab world through his Jewish and Muslim roots. With the ‘Ammali’ EP (2024), he made his debut last year with Sony, presenting himself as a versatile artist who is as interested in big emotions as he is in subtle nuances. In preparation for his recently released debut album, ‘Ephemeral Memory’ (2025), he lived up to the high hopes of his international audience with singles such as ‘Seuls’ and ‘Intra’: Braths is a multi-instrumentalist and composer of international calibre, and we will be hearing much more from him in the future. For his concert in Hamburg he will be joined by the Arco Luna Quartet.
