Danitsa
The vocal sensation from Geneva, the Swiss Lauryn Hill, an exceptional artist with a vision: Danitsa has already earned herself a host of titles and glowing reviews. And every bit of that enthusiasm is entirely justified. With her mix of R&B and reggae, hip-hop and soul, she already set herself apart from others’ expectations on her debut album, “Ego” (2017), and has consistently pursued her own signature sound. And this self-confidence is no accident: Her father had her provide backing vocals for his reggae songs – released under the name Skankytone – from the age of ten, whilst her mother introduced little Danitsa to soul, funk, and hip-hop at the same time. But it was hardly foreseeable that – at the tender age of 14 – she would move from her home in Paris first to Jamaica and then to Geneva, where she would become part of the Little Lion Sound collective and later go on to rack up millions of streams as a solo artist. Today, she captivates a global audience with songs such as “Secret Emotions” (2020) and “Karma” (2022). For her second visit to us this year, however, she is also bringing the laid-back soul of fresh singles such as “Miss Yo” and “Wrong Things” (2026).
