DAYTIME TV
A rock sound built for the very biggest stadiums and a band that consistently brings its vision to life and that crafts lyrics that capture the spirit of the times: DAYTIME TV not only live up to their name, but they also meet every expectation of a modern alt-rock band without exception. On their debut album, “Nothing’s On But Everyone’s Watching” (2022), the Scottish quartet conjure up relentless earworms that stick in your head, blending catchy pop-rock with a punk spirit, sparkling synthesisers with a self-assured indie sound that goes beyond run-of-the-mill AI-generated drivel. Even back then, it was clear that this was merely the first iteration of the project. By the time their EP, “Island” (2024), had been released, DAYTIME TV had already developed an even richer, more electronic style, presenting themselves not only as a cutting-edge rock band, but also as a danceable genre crossover with relentless goosebump potential. Their new singles, “Pause” and “Sun” (2026), impressively demonstrate that this band are only just getting started – and will undoubtedly set the stage alight here in September.
