DOGBITE

Three years ago, DOGBITE burst onto the local metalcore scene with the equally brief and intense “Demo 2023”, turning even the heads of die-hard scene fans from the very start. Riffs as heavy as oil tankers in the dried-up Rhine, vocals filled with equal parts hatred and hope, drumming teetering on the brink of losing control, and songwriting that couldn’t care less about catchiness, instead going all out for demolition. It’s a strategy that’s already been thought through to the very end on every level in bangers such as “Infected” (2024) and “Portrait Of God” (2026) – and it pays off completely. As a result, the quartet from Leipzig have managed to build a reputation in record time that – in this country – is enjoyed by only very few bands across the spectrum from metalcore to beatdown hardcore. But here’s the thing: All that was little more than an impressive warm-up. The next instalment of this manifesto for passionate hardcore is coming in September – at a time that threatens to be consumed by its own contradictions. But before the hype really takes off, you’ll get to see them live here with us. Buckle up.
