Fat Hamster and KANG New

Running counter to the South Korean mainstream of boy and girl bands conceived and moulded from top to bottom, Fat Hamster and Kang New have launched a genuine grassroots project. With physical beats, French synths inspired by Crookers and Justice, along with a distinct DIY attitude, the duo craft some seriously ecstatic club sounds that sit at the intersection of K-pop, tech-house and electro-punk. Drawing on years of high-energy sets and live gigs around the world, they released their debut album “Brains In A Vat” (2025) last year, drawing plenty of attention even from major international radio stations such as KEXP and KXLU. Everywhere they’ve set festival stages alight across Europe, audiences tell of wild scenes, bodies losing all control and dancing frenzies. If you’ve ever heard tracks like “FATPIG” (2026) played at the right volume, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. So, for their gig here, get your dancing boots ready, take a deep breath and let yourself go.
