Hukies
Huskies are already feted as a rising act on the punk rock scene, despite the Viennese quartet only having played a few songs in the city’s scene clubs. But right from the start, they’ve had what it takes. Their debut EP “All Is Kaputt” (2025) contains no fewer than six straight-up mosh pit tracks that bounce between melodic hardcore and 90s skate punk à la The Offspring or Green Day – and they don’t need to declare their allegiance one way or the other. After all, the Hukies’ sound is highly contemporary, not just musically but lyrically too, whichever way you look at it. The band nail their colours to the mast in an era marked by political and economic upheaval, where clarity of position is more important than ever. So it’s only logical that the band’s latest single is called “Alt-Right, Not Right!” (2026) and takes an uncompromising step forward. Same goes for the fact that they’re now coming to us here in Hamburg.
