La Amenaza Constante
Spain's indie scene is buzzing – and buzzing big time. Since releasing their demo tape “Perdido En El Tiempo” (2024) two years ago, which quickly sold out, La Amenaza Constante (meaning ‘the constant threat’) have worked tirelessly to establish themselves as one of the most interesting newcomer bands in their homeland’s vibrant music scene. Emotional guitar melodies intertwine with the sparingly interspersed Spanish vocals and sharp percussion. Yes, this is indie rock, but nuances of post-punk and the hazy qualities of shoegaze also come through in many moments across tracks such as “Perdido en el tiempo” (2024) or “El Verano” (2026). A touch of melancholy, a pinch of summery atmosphere and just the right dose of understatement – this is how La Amenaza Constante make their mark. Now, with the laid-back, groovy “Dame estrellas o limones” (2026), their next single has been released, and they’ll be playing it for the first time here in Hamburg this year.
