Luther

Fear and isolation, betrayal and anger, escapism and emotional numbness: These are the feelings that we often pay too little attention to and that lend Luther’s sound an overwhelming emotional impact. The Berlin-based quartet only released their debut single, “Next Time Send A Killer” (2025), last year, yet right from the get-go, they sounded as though they’d been doing little else for years. And in a way, that’s true. The band perform complex yet groovy rhythms with the same ease as emotional riff barrages and dramatic vocal passages. Metalcore and djent, hardcore and nu metal combine here to form an eclectic style that sounds extremely catchy and that – above all – unleashes unprecedented energy live, both on stage and in the mosh pit. Inspired by bands such as Greyhaven, System of a Down, and Loathe, their upcoming debut album is also characterised by this versatility and precisely controlled power. If you’re looking for a cathartic concert, this one’s for you. Don’t miss out.
