Victory Kid

With their high-octane blend of pop-punk and the raw energy of ska, Victory Kid have made a name for themselves over the last few years on the vibrant underground scene in Los Angeles. The name isn’t just a cool Star Wars reference; it’s also deliberately politically loaded and an implicit homage to the fight against the modern tyranny of late capitalism. Even back to their first single “Tuck Frump” and the accompanying debut EP “Illennials” (2018) they made their stance clear. Equally recognisable is Victory Kid’s sound, a nod to musical legends of the past, but also showing their ability to breathe new life into the genre. Somewhere between the defiant hooks of Sum 41 and the skankable grooves of Sublime, with a biting sarcasm reminiscent of Blink 182 and punchy, state-of-the-art production quality, Victory Kid have found their own interpretation of punk that transcends the usual discourse bubbles – and made it unmistakable right from their first album “Discernation” (2021). This year, they’ll finally be on stage with us for the first time, showcasing their new album “Catalyst” (2026).

Admission to this event is included with a Reeperbahn Festival Conference ticket, Reeperbahn Festival Ticket or a Spotlight On: Heavy Reeperbahn ticket.
