The Power of In­de­pen­dence: How can we use our Coll­ec­ti­ve Strength to WIN?

The global independent music community is used to navigating change, it's in our DNA.  But at the moment, with the Worldwide Independent Network turning 20, we see a combination of global economic and political upheaval alongside the emergence of AI in the public realm dramatically reshaping the industry. As the challenges become global, so too must the response. Bringing together leaders of independent music trade associations from different territories, this session will explore how independent music businesses, entrepreneurs, artists and all those who support them can come together and collaborate across markets to support emerging music and diversity, create a more open and fair music ecosystem, and ensure that independent voices are heard in shaping the industry's future.
