Reeperbahn Festival 2026 – Forever Legit?
With our programme, talks, and conference activities, we aim — under the motto “Forever Legit” — to understand and critically examine the music industry and its transformation in a holistic way. We want to listen to young voices, create open spaces, and enable genuine participation. Is everything we are doing still legitimate — also for future generations?

Our Top 10 moments from 2025
We’re highlighting what made last year’s Reeperbahn Festival so unique—from exclusive shows to inspiring encounters.
Our wide-ranging events programme
As well as concerts, the Reeperbahn Festival offers a multifaceted Arts & Word programme: readings, podcasts, performances and interactive events invite you to discover new perspectives. In addition, selected venues offer activities for those wanting to get a taste of the festival experience without a ticket.
What our visitors say

« The atmosphere is my highlight every year – for me, the Reeperbahn Festival is special because I sense that the people here are genuinely passionate about music and come for the music itself. Other festivals have actually now become influencer hotspots where music is just secondary and it’s mainly about celebrating mainstream artists. At the Reeperbahn Festival it’s not necessarily a complete reverse of this, but the smaller artists in particular are highly valued here – and the interaction between artists and visitors is always special too. »
Our Festival: more than just music
Our values shape every event, every venue and every interaction. They reflect what we stand for and make the Reeperbahn Festival a place for inspiration, participation and sustainable change.

Job Insights
Who’s behind the concerts, club nights or the soundtrack to your favourite game? In our Reeperbahn Festival Job Insights series, we showcase the variety of jobs in the music industry – from booking and sound design to songwriting. There are many ways to get into the industry, often without having to master an instrument.
Do you love music, are you constantly discovering new artists and know your way around the scene? Then a job as a booker might be just right for you. Ariane got into booking through practical experience. Traditional routes involve training as an event manager, but if you’re passionate about music, there are plenty of ways to get started, such as doing an internship at a booking agency.
