What impact does the artwork of a record sleeve have on the later design of concert posters? Or on the light shows at gigs? The interactive exhibition (IN)BETWEEN focuses on the multimedia synergy of creative disciplines within the field of music.

Drawing from one another in terms of content, various elements from the realm of music – experimentally produced & designed records, poster series, and an animated light installation – will create a playground for visitors, spanning several freight containers, in keeping with the Hamburg spirit.

The exhibition was designed and curated by Bareis + Nicolaus, a multimedia design studio in Stuttgart and Hamburg. Bareis + Nicolaus work on highly diverse design projects within the fields of art, culture and economy: analogous, digital, animated, and in three-dimensional spaces, for clients such as Sony Music, MTV, Native Instruments, Universal and many more.

Enjoy an immersive dive into the visual world of the music scene!
