Make way, Die P is coming through. Born in Munich, raised in Bonn, this tough lady with the velvet flow has been rapping her frustration with contemporary patriarchy off her chest regularly since her Luniz memorial single "Mach Platz" from 2017. No mincing of words, no bling-bling and no Botox either, just well-crafted rap at its best: this is what she also delivered with a rarely seen level of self-confidence on the EP “Tape”, which secured her first signing with brand-new label 365XX. Her big ambition is to be recognised as an established artist. Making money is secondary, fame even further down the list - Die P is all about inspiration and introspection, reflecting on life and the hurdles she has to face every day as a woman with African roots. On her debut album “3,14”, she crosses boom bap with conscious rap and takes the trousers off not only local hip hop, but also the whole structural media apparatus behind it. This is rap with a real message - you could actually say, back to the roots.
