Evelinn Trouble

Music / Pop, Rock / Switzerland

Presented by: Swiss Music Export

It’s true that, through her mother, Evelinn Trouble’s contact to music at an early age was intense. But it’s mainly Evelinn’s untamed joy at creating music on her own, in various forms of expression, that has moulded her into a true artist over the years. Her 2007 debut album “Arbitrary Act” was actually her school-leaving exam material. She recorded the piece single-handedly - all the instruments, the production, the design, the whole works. Suddenly the young Evelinn not only gained a wider audience, she was also followed with interest by artists in the Swiss indie scene. More albums followed over the next few years, on Chop Records, Bakara Music and most recently on Mouthwatering Records, where "Longing Fever" was released in 2021. Experience gained with various bands such as Lorry, Sophie Hunger’s choir or Fisher have also shaped her artistic development, along with an insatiable political dedication, perfectly captured in singles with the punch of "Warface" or "Fools".
