Remme

Music / Pop / Netherlands

Presented by: Dutch Music Export

He wrote his first songs at the age of 12, moved to Berlin at 16 and has lived for music virtually non-stop ever since – that’s the definition of passion in a true artist. Remme shows this not only on the piano, but also with his unmistakable voice, which makes the singles “Get Older” and “Hunger” gems of modern songwriter pop. A soulful falsetto anything like the one possessed by this young up-and-coming talent hasn’t been heard in the European pop biz for years. No wonder then that plenty of fans have been counting the hours until the debut album comes out. Anyone listening properly to the goosebump-inducing “Lose Touch” or “Ghosts” will understand this and could very soon be among them – a new face is establishing itself on the international music market that we’d all do well to take note of.
