Stefanie Hempel's Beatles-Tour

Arts / Guided Tours / Germany

Stefanie Hempel is the maker of the music-filled Beatles tour in Hamburg. Follow her through St. Pauli’s famous red light district on the trail of John, Paul, George, Ringo, Pete & Stuart!

“No Hamburg, no Beatles”, says leading Beatles authority Mark Lewisohn. And they’re all still there – all those places where the Fab Four evolved to become the band that would conquer the world. Countless stories are set in the streets and backyards of Hamburg-St. Pauli. The tour takes you to all the sites that breathe Beatles history: Indra, Kaiserkeller, Top Ten, Star-Club, Bambi Kino, Lennon’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll” cover photo, and more ... and there will be plenty of live music along the way! For years, Stefanie Hempel’s ukulele Beatles tour has been thrilling fans from around the world. According to MTV UK, it’s “The greatest Beatles tour of all time”.

At the end there will be a small final concert at Rosi's Bar in Hamburger Berg. Eyewitness and St. Pauli legend Rosi Sheridan-McGinnity will be there in person to talk about her time with the Beatles in the Hamburg clubs.

The tour is held in German and English.
