That was the Reeperbahn Festival 2026

Forever Legit?

With our programme, talks, and conference activities, we aimed — under the motto “Forever Legit” — to understand and critically examine the music industry and its transformation in a holistic way. We listened to young voices, created open spaces, and enabled genuine participation. Is everything we are doing still legitimate — also for future generations?

Our wide-ranging events programme

As well as concerts, the Reeperbahn Festival offers a multifaceted Arts & Word programme: readings, podcasts, performances and interactive events invite you to discover new perspectives. In addition, selected venues offer activities for those wanting to get a taste of the festival experience without a ticket.

Our Festival: more than just music

Our values shape every event, every venue and every interaction. They reflect what we stand for and make the Reeperbahn Festival a place for inspiration, participation and sustainable change.

What our visitors say

„“
« The atmosphere is my highlight every year – for me, the Reeperbahn Festival is special because I sense that the people here are genuinely passionate about music and come for the music itself. Other festivals have actually now become influencer hotspots where music is just secondary and it’s mainly about celebrating mainstream artists. At the Reeperbahn Festival it’s not necessarily a complete reverse of this, but the smaller artists in particular are highly valued here – and the interaction between artists and visitors is always special too. »

We are part of the Keychange initiative

Our initiative for diversity and gender equality in the music industry

The Reeperbahn Festival is part of the Keychange Initiative – a global alliance committed to equality and diversity in the music industry. By participating, we commit to promoting at least 50% of the performing artists and speakers in our programme who identify as under-represented genders. In this way, we actively contribute to creating equal opportunities and strengthening diversity on stages, panel discussions and within the industry.
