Here, indie is less about scene codes or guitar clichés and more about a mindset: artistic freedom, self-determination, independence, and a DIY ethos meet a wide diversity of sounds, perspectives, production styles, and creative approaches — increasingly shaped by the conscious breaking down of rigid genre boundaries.
