Marilena Berends

Marilena actually wanted to become an actress but ended up in journalism via a series of twists and turns. Today, she works as a cross-media reporter, including for NDR, and tells stories that bring together society, culture, and questions about the future. Since 2017, Marilena has been producing and presenting the “Sinneswandel” podcast, which is dedicated to social change. As a freelance journalist and presenter – but above all, as a “possibilist” – she seeks out avenues for action to tackle the challenges of our time.
