The 2026 Anchor Jury has been announced!
We are delighted to once again present the Anchor Award this year as part of a glamorous awards show on Festival Friday. Our distinguished jury will evaluate the nominees’ performances at the St. Pauli Theater and select the winner, who will take home not only the prestigious title but also international attention and recognition. This year, our six nominees—BIG WETT, Dov'è Liana, GANNA, Just For Fun, Nectar Woode, and Sonic Interventions—will try to win over our distinguished jury.
The Anchor Jury 2026
Each year, the Anchor Awards jury is composed of renowned figures from the international music industry, all of whom have impressive careers and extensive experience in various areas of music. This year's jury includes:
DOMIZIANA
In the spring of 2022, Domiziana burst onto the German music scene—and is here to stay. Her debut single, “Ohne Benzin,” which reached No. 1, catapulted her onto the big stages of the GSA region in no time. The song reached No. 1 on the German charts, was certified triple gold in the GSA region and platinum in Germany, and established Domiziana as one of the defining new voices.
Jerry Heil
In just four years, Jerry Heil has gone from being a vlogger to one of the most influential voices in the Ukrainian music scene. She also founded her own music label, NOVA MUSIC. Her songs have become internet sensations, and her YouTube channel has over 375 million views. In 2024, she was the most-streamed Ukrainian pop artist on Spotify, and she remains one of the most-streamed Ukrainian artists worldwide today.
Oklou
Oklou’s deluxe album builds on the warm production of *choke enough* and blends atmospheric textures with minimalist club beats. Four new songs expand the album’s musical universe, including the single “viscus” featuring FKA twigs.
Following her impressive Tiny Desk performance with an eight-member choir and her recent Pitchfork cover story, Oklou remains in the spotlight of the international music scene. Most recently, she also appeared on PinkPantheress’s remix album Fancy Some More?.
Sega Bodega
For Sega Bodega, the line between dream and reality is blurred. On his third album, *Dennis*, Salvador Navarrete explores precisely this state between consciousness and oblivion. Building on his albums *Salvador* (2020) and *Romeo*, he combines futuristic electronic sounds with dreamlike, physically immersive dance music.
His distinctive sound has already left its mark on productions by artists such as Eartheater, Caroline Polachek, and Shygirl. In addition to co-founding the underground collective NUXXE and working with Björk and Rosalía, he founded the project Kiss Facility together with Mayah Alkhateri.
