Ex-Spice Girl Melanie C., DJ and presenter Markus Kavka as well as Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle, the multiple award-winning mastering engineer Darcy Proper, Seeed frontman Frank Dellé and producer legend Tony Visconti are all part of this year’s jury who will decide which artist’s outstanding performance will have the chance to win one of the most important prizes of the local festival landscape!

After an extensive selection process by the ANCHOR Board, the nominees for the ANCHOR – the Reeperbahn Festival International Music Awards - are now finalised. This year, the decision will be especially difficult once again. After all, three of the acts have presented extraordinary debut albums in 2020: Unconventional visionary Arya Zappa, the glorious indietronica duo ÄTNA and storyteller Suzane. Also not to be underestimated are Dutch singer-songwriter Eefje de Visser, the border-busting funk sextet l'Eclair, and the now solo dark poet Tuvaband.
