The artists’ collective Baltic Raw deals artistically with change processes by making use of a large wall surface. On the previous Esso houses - themselves contemporary witnesses of an increasing fragmentation of St. Pauli – at Spielbudenplatz Ost a series of images is created on the theme of Man’s interference with nature. 

In the short film "Glaciation in Reservation" Jacques Palminger wanders through the empty art gallery, accompanied by a polar bear. Like an ancient hill they climb floor for floor, climb down, twist and turn – a meditation on the disturbing relationship between Man and Nature.
