We love music and we are happy to share with you our 50 musical additions to the line-up! They meanwhile include twonotoriously powerful duos.

The first one is MANTAR from Bremen: lava-spewing sludge metal, slash crust punk, slash black metal from two musicians who, just equipped with drums and guitar when playing live, sound more savage than some projects twice that size.

Sleaford Mods are equally serene and in your face; their political spoken-word punk has expressed exactly and explicitly for years what an increasingly disillusioned generation in the UK is feeling. 

Ranging at the other end of the musical spectrum, the Sahrawi artist and musical activist Aziza Brahim, the sunny pop of the songwriter ELI's and the cranky-genial indie by ClickClickDecker and many more have been confirmed. Mighty Oaks(photo) will also have a go this year – for the first time since 2012, when we still presented them as insiders' tip before they had their breakthrough. And rightly so, as it turned out. No other project has celebrated this melancholic, yet summery light folk pop more confidently in style nor more emotionally, making you cravefor the warm season. We are overjoyed about their comeback in Hamburg. Moreover, there are such diverse acts in the line-up as Algiers, BAD CHILD, Carlos Cipa, The Subways, Whispering Sonsor the Ishmael Ensemble. Gospel and industrial, modern classic and garage rock, post punk and neo soul – although the several hundred artists who will follow the current state of the line-up are leavinghardly anything to wish for.
