Future Frame for Content
Under the heading "Future Frames for Content", a keynote speech by Hamburg's First Mayor Olaf Scholz and an ensuing discussion with Dieter Gorny (Chairman of the Board, BVMI – Federal Music Industry Association, DE), Andreas Briese (Director Partnerships YouTube DACH/CEE, DE), Maria Köpf (Managing Director, Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, DE), and Alexander Skipis (Managing Director, German Publishers and Booksellers Association, DE) will consider the issue as to whether legal framework conditions in the music and creative industries need to be adapted to create a level playing field between disruption and transformation and to remove the "value gap" that is currently being discussed intensively at the European level. What adjustments can be considered and what might such a level playing field look like in an ideal world?
