With his voice, he already enchanted the Reeperbahn Festival audience in 2017. In January Dermot Kennedy will be back to Germany, bringing along his debut EP “Doves & Ravens”, published this year, which puts him in one level with singer songwriters such as Bon Iver, James Blake or James Vincent McMorrow. Iron & Wine doesn’t need a lot of introduction. He’s an old hand in the singer-songwriter business. In 2017, the American released “Beast Epic”, his thirteenth album. Like its predecessors, it’s the perfect soundtrack for rainy days on the sofa in front of the fireplace. With his voice, Sam Beam, the man behind Iron & Wine, generates a cosiness and warmth – and at live venues, too, as his years of performing have demonstrated.
