The Festival Village

On the Heiligengeistfeld, we have again created a spacious, green oasis for you. The Festival Village extends across an area of 15,000 sqm and serves as refuge and info point as well as meeting place for fans and artists. This is where you can exchange your ticket for a wristband, plan your day, enjoy culinary delicacies or explore the varied programme of readings, shows, performances and workshops – a small festival within the festival.

At the new Spiegelzelt – the Mirror Tent - Marco Göllner and three doormen from Hamburg’s nightlife will give readings. In his exhibition “It started in Hamburg”, the graphic design legend Klaus Voormann will show graphic works, objects, sketches and large projections from six decades of creativity, and Bazzookas will again get the crowd pumped up in the narrow space of a yellow school bus.

The Field of Arts presented by SEAT is an art village inside the village! Among other things it offers performance, tape art and exciting art installations.
