From 16–19 September 2026, the Reeperbahn Festival returns guided by the theme "Forever Legit?".
This year's motto invites you to explore and critically reflect on the music industry's ongoing transformation from a holistic perspective. We want to listen to fresh voices, create open spaces for dialogue, and enable meaningful participation.
Around 45,000 visitors, including up to 6,000 industry professionals from more than 40 countries, can look forward to a diverse programme featuring around 800 individual events across approximately 70 venues.
At the heart of the festival is the idea of solidarity: supporting the next generation of artists, empowering fans, strengthening the entire music ecosystem, and, ultimately, reinforcing democracy. In line with this vision, the Reeperbahn Festival also consciously opens its doors to the wider public. At the freely accessible Festival Village and other public venues, visitors can experience music and culture even without a festival ticket.
