Reeperbahn Festival International

In the coming months, the Reeperbahn Festival will continue to expand its activities as the main European music platform for international and transcultural exchange. Under the title "Reeperbahn Festival International", spin-offs will be established (or enlarged) in Nashville, Beijing, New York, Accra and Los Angeles with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office. These spin-offs will promote cooperation between German and European artists and artists from the respective destinations and enable the co-organisation of new networks between music industry players.

For this reason, at the heart of these cultural activities abroad is the presentation of artists of German and European music businesses who want to access international cultural regions. The programmes offered at the five new international locations will be rounded off by workshops, matchmakings and other networking formats in which companies and their artists can meet potential partners from the corresponding sub-markets. We are currently putting together the delegations for the events in Nashville (05-08 May), Beijing (18–19 May) and New York (17–20 June). Music business professionals from the sectors recorded, publishing, distribution and management who have a concrete interest in the US or Chinese market are cordially invited to apply to participate. For Peking we are also accepting applications from the sector live. The application deadline is 04 April 2019. The German Federal Foreign Office is supporting every European RBF delegate with a travel subsidy of 600 Euro (New York) and 800 Euro (Beijing). Further information can be found here.
