Head of Projects / Center for Music Ecosystems
Angharad Cooper is a Paris-based consultant, coach and facilitator working with international clients across the cultural sector to develop new projects, increase impact and facilitate change.
Clients include the Center for Music Ecosystems, where she is Head of Projects, leading on projects with the United Nations Development Program and the Nordic Culture Fund, as well as the establishment of a new youth council. Her past clients include the British Council, No-Nation Ltd (Meltdown Festival, UK) Creative Europe, London Philharmonic Orchestra as well as grassroots organisations and individual artists including poet and sound performer Caroline Bergvall, composer Gavin Bryars, composer Sarah Angliss and AI artist Daisy Ginsberg.
She is Chair of Soundmix, Croydon-based charity providing music-making sessions for young unaccompanied refugees and asylum seekers.
As Audience Development Expert for the ‘Acoustic Commons’ global network of open streaming biodiversity microphones, she is working with micro arts organisations in UK, France, Slovenia and Cyprus to develop audience engagement strategies.
She is Lead for France at Sound Diplomacy, a mentor for the Women of the World Foundation and has spoken at TATE Modern Curating Sound conference (London, 2019); RESIST (Belfast, 2018); Music Tech Fest (Berlin, 2018) and Drake ‘Emergent’ festival, showcasing the work of disabled artists (Zoom, London, 2020).
