Åsa Carild has a multifaceted career in the music industry, bringing diverse experience from various angles.

She currently leads business development at Broma16, an international licensing hub that services CMOs, publishers and labels with multi-territorial licenses and direct royalty collection from DSPs.
Broma16 also provides rights management and royalty processing powered by the Heaven11 tech platform.

Prior to this, Åsa served as CEO of Polaris, head of business development at ICE, and head of international licensing at STIM. Åsa was an entrepreneur in the gaming industry with the company Much different, and she previously managed Nokia's Nordic mobile music venture.
As a board member of SOM, the Swedish indie music producers’ organization, Åsa facilitated digital distribution for Indie labels while simultaneously running the independent record company Exergy/Rothhändle Recordings. She has also conducted extensive academic research on the impact of digitalization on the music business.
Besides Broma16, Åsa represents the SaaS platform Heaven11, focusing on expanding the company’s modern copyright database, data administration services, as well as royalty processing and distribution tools to the global market.
