Barbara Loth

Barbara Loth studied law at the FU Berlin and began working as a lawyer in 1987. In 1991, she became a judge at the Berlin Labour Court. From 2006 to 2011, she was District Councillor for Economics, Health and Transport in Berlin Steglitz-Zehlendorf and most recently Deputy Mayor. From December 2011 to December 2016, she was State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for Labour, Integration and Women's Issues. She was a member of the sponsors' meeting of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf JobCentre, a member of the administrative committee of the Berlin South Employment Agency, most recently spokesperson for Berlin's representatives and a member of the administrative board of the Federal Employment Agency. She has been working as an independent lawyer specialising in labour law since 2017.
