Barbara Weber

Barbara S. Weber studied theater, literature, and psychology at LMU Munich, before discovering her passion for directing. This interest led her to pursue a degree in music theater directing in Hamburg, followed by work at major opera houses from Munich to Tokyo – alongside her own artistic projects in more unconventional spaces. After a decade in the world of opera, she shifted her focus to festival guest management, managing artist relations at high-profile events such as Filmfest München and the Berlinale. In 2019, she returned to the creative side oft he performing arts and transitioned into film, bringing her sense for timing, music, and narrative to her work as a Music Supervisor. Since then, she has contributed to over 30 film and streaming projects. In 2024, she took the next step and launched her own company, Think about Music.
