
Elijah
Elijah is a London based Writer & DJ working across the independent music and arts sector. He co-founded the record label Butterz (2010-2021) and his work has spanned artist management, event production and creative direction.
Elijah is currently writing about Black British Culture, Electronic Music, The Creator Economy and wider curiosities via his multimedia design system the ‘Yellow Square’. The work lives as a podcast, book, album, public artwork, and a global lecture and club series. His DJ sets are rooted in London pirate radio culture spanning Grime, Dubstep, Funky, UK Garage, Jungle and their contemporary representations.
Elijah has collaborated with AlphaTheta on a DJ Controller, Resident Advisor as their first guest editor, Beatport on a series about modern DJing, Fred Again on his tour artwork and is a contributor to Rinse FM and The Guardian.
