Felicitas Niere
Felicitas is the initiator behind the awareness and accessibility concept at OMR Festival – one of Europe’s largest digital and marketing events. Over the past five years at the Hamburg-based company, she has initiated numerous measures to make the event safer and more inclusive – shaped by personal experience and a strong conviction: large-scale events must be safe and accessible for everyone.
For Felicitas, it’s all about sparking structural change – so that people can come together on equal footing, in safe environments, and with the freedom to be themselves.
As a woman affected by sexism and sexualized violence and as a neurodivergent person, she brings her lived experience into the work and actively uses these perspectives to help make spaces fairer and more accessible. Beyond her role at OMR, she’s been involved in awareness and inclusion initiatives for many years – including with Millerntor Gallery and ABB e.V.
With 67,000 attendees, more than 1,000 exhibitors and partners, and over 800 speakers, Felicitas sees the OMR Festival as a major opportunity: those who are reached here help shape the future of the (digital) economy – and can become powerful multipliers for breaking down barriers and discriminatory structures.
