Johannes Everke

Johannes Everke has been managing director of the BDKV (German Association of the Concert and Event Industry) since January 2023. A trained lawyer by profession, he has a background in live entertainment, cultural policy, urban economic development and city marketing. Following a reorganisation of the association and its services, Johannes is now focused on expanding its political advocacy in Berlin and Brussels, as well as supporting member companies in their sustainable development. He is a member of various industry and professional committees such as the German Cultural Council, the German Music Council, the advisory board of the German artists social fund KSK, the Club Foundation Hamburg and the Reeperbahn Festival.
