Karin Wir

Karin Wir is an Artist & Product Manager at Hamburg-based independent label Beat Dealer Records. Since 2022, she has worked across artist development, release strategy and management, supporting artists from individual release positioning to long-term career development. In artist management, she has worked with artists including Neptunica, Caro van Ee, LUNAX, Luca Schreiner, Vansessy and YAMAS.

Her path into the music industry grew out of a long-standing passion for concerts, festivals and club culture. The energy, emotion and sense of community created through music are what first drew her to the industry and continue to shape the way she approaches artist identity, positioning and fan engagement. She is particularly interested in formats and experiences that bring artists and fans closer together beyond traditional releases and help build stronger, long-term communities.

Karin has experienced the music industry from several perspectives. Before joining Beat Dealer Records, she wrote for the music blog The Postie, and today she is also active as an artist through her own project ZEYPHIA. These different experiences shape her approach to artist development and her understanding of how creative vision, strategy and genuine fan connection can work together.
