Lena Hansen
As a sustainability scientist, Lena has been developing partnerships for more than a decade. First, it was about complex agricultural supply chains, since 2017 for the non -profit network Green Events in her hometown of Hamburg. In 2019, Lena started transforming the informal network into an organisation. As a board member and leader, she focusses on project development and finance, is a creative strategist and, as an enthusiastic network professional, brings together a wide variety of people for a common goal. She is responsible for 6 employees and several freelancers. Green Events now has been advising more than 50 events, developed the first multi-stage management tool and certification for sustainable event organization, offers the public digital database Tatenbank a.k.a. "carefree package" for sustainable event management. Further, the non -profit network has been developer and implementer of the SUSTAIN! @ Reeperbahn Festival and is in exchange through international partnerships with networks and festivals from all over Europe. Lena is concerned to bring effective existing solutions into practice - and at the same time to use scientific knowledge and technological progress for the development of new solutions. Part of her work is also an intense exchange with politics and administration. Lena works in terms of value and common good, she loves meaningful challenges.
