Head of Music Operations Deutschland / TikTok Deutschland



Michael Kümmerle is Head of Music Operations for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at TikTok.
In his role, he drives the diversity of music content on the platform, including the cross-genre programming of the Sounds page
as well as collaboration with partners. Michael is also responsible for liaising with artists, songwriters, labels, publishers,
promoters and music brands to further establish TikTok as a place for creativity and musicdiscovery. With more than 20 years of
experience in the music industry, Michael brings extensive knowledge in music marketing, licensing and distribution. Prior to
TikTok, he spent over twelve years at Warner Music Group Germany, most recently as Director Digital Sales & Artist Services Central Europe.
Michael started his career in the music business at BMG and arvato mobile.
