Bonnie Trash
Equally powerful and dramatic, Bonnie Trash create epic soundtracks to the horror stories that fascinated them as children and that they now share with their fans. Influenced by urban legends and ancient folklore, by the supernatural as well as by the depths of human nature, the Canadian quartet have become a genuine cult phenomenon in their homeland within just a few years. Their first studio album, ‘Malocchio’ (2022), impressively demonstrates how phenomenally well the crossover of doom metal and goth punk, of shoegaze and unpolished glam rock can work – when performed at such a high technical level. Whether Metal Hammer or Guitar World Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan or the tastemakers at Exclaim!, Bonnie Trash have since been celebrated not only for their unconventional signature sound, but also for their sweat-inducing shows. With their latest album, ‘Mourning You’ (2025), the project once again prove that when it comes to explosive concert rituals, no one can hold a candle to them. On the contrary: Other bands could learn a thing or two from their energy.
