Reeperbahn Festival Policy

In accordance with our company's Code of Conduct, we see the Reeperbahn Festival as a cultural venue for peaceful, respectful, collaborative, and diverse coexistence. We provide our constantly changing society with artistic and content-related stimuli and thus open up spaces for constitutionally protected artistic freedom.

To do that, we rely on social and democratic values. For us, these values include the protection of human dignity, the preservation of personal integrity and mutual respect, the recognition of social diversity, and the realisation of gender equality and equal opportunities.

We do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of national or ethnic origin, gender, religion or ideology, political conviction, disability, age, marital status, sexual identity or orientation, or social background.

That is why, at a time when the values that are indispensable for free and respectful coexistence are coming under increasing pressure, we are taking a clear stance against all forms of anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, right-wing extremism, transphobia and queerphobia, and other forms of group-based bigotry as well as hatred and hate speech.
