With their careers, the ladies and gentlemen of Das Internet have already caused head-spinning in the local underground. Each member in their way, drawing on their skills, their styles: Taby Pilgrim most recently with the experimental soul striptease on her second album ‘Nest’ (2024), Kleinkriminelle through her experience as a music journalist and manager, Thizzy on the “Schurke” EP, with which he delivers a fresh take on German-language emo rap, and Peat via his third album ‘Weich’ (2023) - an experimental stroke of genius of local conscious hip-hop. They have been performing together as a live combo since 2023, translating unconventional rap with biting lyrics and slick beat constructions into a concert format far removed from conventional expectations.
