Fiona-Lee
With uncompromising honesty and autobiographical depth, Fiona-Lee crafts songs drawn directly from life, showing no hesitation in artistically processing both the high points and the darkest moments. The results are often testaments to resilience born of reflecting on past experiences. Songs such as the deeply moving “Victim” (2025) deal with emotional abuse at the hands of narcissistic people – with gentle guitar lines, harmonised vocals and harmonica, a sense of catharsis emerges here, following a long-fought struggle for liberation. Ultimately, it is messages of hope that Fiona-Lee weaves into her songwriting. On this year’s debut EP “Every Woman” (2026), the tracks are consequently more upbeat, stronger and more energetic, featuring driving riffs and crisp drums. It is the evolution of a woman who has been through a great deal and wants to convey to others: you can do it too, you are not powerless.
