Growing up on the outskirts of Hamburg between piano lessons and school orchestra, FRISO began to make music his expression at an early age. What started as a self-experiment with beats and songwriting eventually led him to the big stages as Paula Hartmann's DJ. At the same time, he also stepped into the limelight as a solo artist and, as part of the collective Tooloudfortheroom, located himself somewhere between pop, rap, melancholy, and euphoria. After his acclaimed EP ‘10 qm’ (2024) and the sold-out ‘Drei Atemzüge’ tour, the next step follows in 2025: ‘Luft zum Atmen’, a new EP that creates space for doubt, thoughts, and feelings, will be released in May. It was developed under difficult conditions: Self-doubt, a crashed laptop, and lost recordings. But FRISO starts all over again and ends up with an EP that honestly, directly and profoundly carries his world of thoughts. Anyone who experiences FRISO on stage understands why music is sometimes the only air we have to breathe.
