Miss Marla
Time is money and money is power – that’s something Miss Marla realised early on, and she’s bringing the East Coast game’s soundtrack to Germany in a contemporary trap style. The rapper has been dropping bangers such as “Black Barbie” (2024) and “Ich bin eine Diva” (2025) at regular intervals for a few years now, leaving her rivals in her wake with the swagger of a young Missy Elliott, whilst her streaming figures are consistently going through the roof. Autotune and thumping basslines already made their mark on the German rap scene with her debut album “Money Counter Music” (2025), leaving everyone wide-eyed – because beats and bars of this calibre are anything but an everyday occurrence. But resting on her laurels? No chance. The self-made rap queen continues to set new standards with her EP “Young Barbie Life” (2026), sounding simply bigger and more empowered with every track. With fresh singles like “U Wish” and “Time Is Money” (2026), she’s making her debut here in Hamburg this September and setting the standard for self-assured, female-fronted German rap.
