While many new bands nowadays use social media to gain fame, overpass found their path the classic way - through coincidences, circles of friends and a shared love of indie rock. What began as a loose acquaintance became a permanent constellation: Max on mic and guitar, Indie on bass, Elliot on guitar and Jake on drums.
The four Brits have caused quite a stir in their home country in recent years. Without any major releases, but with all the more stage presence, they have played their way through the clubs of Birmingham - more and more often to sold-out houses. Overpass aim high and yet remain remarkably down-to-earth. For the band, it's not click rates or algorithms that count, but real moments - when people not only hear their songs, but feel them.  After all, what's the point of a viral video if nobody sings along? That's exactly what happens when you listen to overpass - loudly, euphorically and at the top of your lungs.
