Along with her soulmate Laurin, singer Schlotte has spent the last two years bringing substance and meaning back to German-language pop music. The duo interweave versatile lyrics with a biographical touch, sophisticated beats and euphoric melodies to create a rousing interpretation of modern indie pop with the potential to fill entire stadiums. So why are they still something of an insider tip despite their highly emotional singles such as ‘Andy Warhol’ or ‘Neue Notiz’ (2024)?
